Room 1: Stories and Reflections

What does a playworker do most? Tidy up and observe and reflect. This Room is where pairs of playworkers will be telling a story about an experience from their setting and reflecting upon it in terms of playwork practice. Over the course of the day we will hear stories from different types of playwork settings.

Room 2: Advocacy

Advocating for play and also advocating for playwork. A significant part of the playworkers time is spent talking to other people about play and playwork, arguing the case for its importance and this happens within the specific community, at local and national government levels. These sessions will look at what we have done and what we need to do.

Room 3: Playworkers Chatting

Let's take two playworkers and lock them together for an hour and see what happens! In this room the conversation will flow and there is no script, just 2 playwork people having a conversation about playwork which could go anywhere. Unplanned and unprompted but also ready to answer your questions
